SAMPLE ART
Just to show what can be done with some of the art materials that are sold in Framing Pieces, Amanda has produced some sample specimens of original work in and on various mediums. It gives you an idea of what you can produce with these products.
Pastel work on Pastel Premier paper. Framing Pieces now stocks a range of sizes and colours of this top quality paper, as well as a range ofpastels.
This work really catches the look of the scenery around here, although in a drier season than the one we are having now.
Pastel work on Colourfix Smooth paper, which has the same colours and general properties as regular Colourfix paper, but a finer tooth. I think we can say that Amanda likes drawing trees.
Pastel on Richeson Premium Pastel Paper, a paper with a more toothy surface than the others, allowing use of thicker colour. For the bold look.
Sketch using Winsor & Newton Pigment Markers. These markers have been withdrawn from sale, but you can get Winsor & Newton Promarkers, Brushmarkers and Watercolour markers if you like working with these kinds of tools.
The Art Graf range of sketching mediums allows for a combination of charcoal drawing and watercolour wash techniques. Amanda produced this little sample in a few minutes while I watched. It turned out like this.
